Woolly West Fest Program 2019 (click to download the program.)
Welcome to the 2019 Woolly West Fest.
We’re turning 5 – bleat bleat baa-ray!
The Woolly West Fest was founded by Jacinta Wareham and Naomi Turner in 2014 as a celebration of the region’s most famous natural resource wool.
Woven with a thread of early childhood literacy, this year the festival is themed around the Jackie French & Bruce Whatley book, Pete the Sheep.
This year our program will be all warm and cosy at our Hamilton PACheadquarters (aka the WoolPAC). Here you’ll find an abundance of exhibits (including our famous Diorabaaas) to enjoy from 10am – 5pm daily, with 2 live shows and a foodie get-together thrown in.
The festival draws together schools, businesses, community groups and wool-craft artists from right across south-west Victoria, in a range of community art and literacy events, exhibitions and performances.
